Southeast Gujarat to continue with good Monsoon rains

The state of Gujarat had a very bad start as far as Monsoon rains are concerned. Until a few days ago, the entire state was observing massive deficiency in terms of rainfall.

However, all thanks to the systems forming in the Bay of Bengal and moving across Central India towards Gujarat, rainfall activity once again revived over the entire state of Gujarat.

In fact, flooding rainfall activity was observed over many parts. Therefore, now the rainfall stats have become a positive for the entire state.

As far as the last 24 hours are concerned some parts did receive heavy rainfall activity while others saw moderate rains.

In the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Saturday, Valsad recorded heavy rains to the tune of 90 mm, followed by 64 mm of rains in Surat, Mahuva recorded 34 mm of rains, Amreli 33 mm, Rajkot 5 mm, Ahmedabad 4 mm, and Vadodara 3 mm.

Talking about the next 24 hours, moderate to heavy rainfall activity will continue over the southeastern parts of Gujarat. However, rainfall activity will reduce from other parts of the state. Temperatures will continue to settle on the lower side for the entire state of Gujarat.
