Medium and high clouds have already led to drop in temperatures in the state by two to three degrees and will be in the range of 37°C-40°C. On April 16, most parts of the state would be on a receiving end of rain and thundershowers and with this temperature are expected to fall further. While, isolated pockets might witness heavy thundershowers with hailstorm and strong winds of wind speed 40-50 kmph gusting 60 kmph as well. Today and tomorrow, places like Ujjain, Ratlam, Neemuch, Dhar, Indore, Bhopal and Guna would get to witness rain and thundershower activities.

By April 17, the weather would start clearing up from the western part of the states. However, east and northeast districts such as Satna, Sidhi, Rewa and Damo might continue to witness light rains. Temperatures over the western parts would start rising by April 17 and on April 18, there will be further rise ahead. It will not be wrong to say that scorching heat would once again make a comeback.

Also, due to steep rise in temperatures, heat wave would make a comeback over western and southern districts of the state.
