Telangana including Hyderabad has been continuously witnessing rain since many days. From quite some time, a dry spell has not been witnessed by the city of Nizams. The varied intensity of rain and thundershower has occurred over the city.
In the last 24 hours from 8.30 am on Wednesday, Nizamabad witnessed rain to the tune of 5.8 mm and Hanamkonda 2 mm of rain. As per Skymet Weather, scattered showers will continue over Telangana including Hyderabad, for the next two to three days more.
Places such as Nizamabad and Hanamkonda will also receive few good spells of rain during this period. At present, a cyclonic circulation is persisting over the southeast and adjoining east central Bay of Bengal and a trough is also extending up to Telangana across coastal Andhra Pradesh.
Due to these combined weather systems, moist winds and humid winds from the Bay of Bengal will continue to feed moisture over Telangana leading to cloud formation and subsequent rainfall activities.
The upcoming T20 cricket match played between India and Australia which is scheduled in Hyderabad on October 13, will be obstructed by the rainy spells. Weather will remain warm and humid during daytime but nights will be comfortable over the entire state including Hyderabad.
