According to the latest weather update by Skymet Meteorology Division in India, Andhra Pradesh and Odisha were the hottest states as most of the places listed here belong to these two states. Rentachintala, Ongole and Nellore in Andhra Pradesh are top three hottest places followed by Titlagarh and Sambalpur in Odisha. Day temperature in Bhubaneswar in coastal Odisha was above normal by six notches. Durg was hottest in Chhattisgarh with a maximum of 43.2°C on Friday.
