Unseasonal rains to revisit Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat

Unseasonal rain and thunder showers occurred over Rajasthan parts of Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh during first week of January. Weather is almost dry since then. A fresh intense Western disturbance and an induced cyclonic circulation over West Rajasthan will be instrumental in commencement of unseasonal Rain over many parts of Rajasthan north and West Madhya Pradesh and Eastern districts of Gujarat.

In fact, many districts of Rajasthan have already witnessed right to moderate rain during last 24 hours. Rain activities may be intense on January 22nd over Northern and Northeastern districts of Rajasthan. Such as Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Bikaner, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Sikar and Alwar. Rain will subside significantly of by January 23rd over Rajasthan. However, isolated parts of north Rajasthan may receive light rain.

Similarly Northern districts of Madhya Pradesh such as Gwalior, Datia, Nawgong, Khajuraho, Satna, Tikamgarh, Guna and Sagar has witnessed scattered rain activities during last 24 hours. Light rain may continue over northern parts of Madhya Pradesh until January 23rd.

We do not expect any significant weather activity over Gujarat how were Eastern districts of Gujarat such as Dahod, Panchmahal, Chhota Udaipur, Narmada, Tapi, Dang, Navsari and Valsad may witness isolated light rain on January 22nd. Weather will clear up by January 23rd.
