Weather to stay dry and clear over Central India

During the month of October, most stations of Central India have not recorded any significant rain activity. Similarly, the last 24 hours were also of no difference and the entire central chunk of the country remained rain free.

In fact, most of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha region continued to witness dry and warm weather, with clear and sunny sky.

The Southwest Monsoon has withdrawn from the entire country and in addition to this; there is no major weather system over and around the region. Thus, the current weather conditions could be attributed to the mentioned reasons.

Presently, the maximums of East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh are settling in the lower 30s, whereas in Gujarat, South Rajasthan and West Madhya Pradesh, the day temperatures are in the mid-30s to higher 30s.

On the contrary, minimum temperatures are reported in the range of 14-15 degrees over the states of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. In wake of this, we can say that that winter chill sense has commenced during the morning and night hours over most chunks of Central India.

Furthermore, both day and night temperatures are anticipated to mark a gradual fall by the weathermen and during the first week of November, minimums over East Madhya Pradesh will fall further and the weather conditions will continue to be dry with clear sky paving way for the onset of winters over the region.
