The Western Disturbance is all set to approach the Western Himalayan region anytime now. The weather activities will very soon commence over the hills of North India including Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh and Uttarakhand.
Rains will be lighter to start with and activities will be isolated in the beginning, becoming scattered subsequently, which is on February 16 and 17. Moderate activities may be seen in some parts.
The system will be milder as compared to what was observed in the last spell. Another system is expected to approach around February 18 and 19, and will be more active in nature. This system will affect Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh and slightly less over Uttarakhand.
Night temperatures may rise during this spell and day temperatures may witness a drop as well.
