Located on the banks of river Cauvery, Tiruchchirappalli or Trichy is the fourth largest city in the state of Tamil Nadu. The city is an amalgamation of tradition and modernity. Several rulers like the Cholas, Cheras and Hoysalas have contributed in the construction of the temple. Other than the temples the Puliyancholai Falls, located 72 kilometers from the city is a place of great tourist attraction.
