Summer season in Daman and Diu that lasts from March to May is quite hot but the day temperatures does not rise abnormally. The maximum temperature settle around 32°C, while minimum temperature is around 22°C. The constant sea breeze also affects the temperature on the island.

Daman and Diu offers some of the beautiful and picturesque locales in form of beaches, heritage monuments, churches and many more. Some of the famous beaches are Jallandhar Beach, Gpomtimata Beach, Nagoa Beach etc.
City has three Portuguese Baroque churches-- St. Paul's Church, Church of St. Francis of Assisi and St. Thomas Church. The first one is still used for religious purpose, while the second and third ones are turned into a hospital and museum, respectively.
Others include, Naida Caves and INS Khukri memorial, both located near the Jallandhar Beach. The memorial is known for its open amphitheater and sunset.
