Ajmer is the fifth largest city in Rajasthan and is located at a distance of about 135 kilometers west of Jaipur. Surrounded by the Aravalli Mountains, the city is a pilgrimage site housing the shrine of Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. Ajmer boasts a glorious historical legacy and is an interesting blend of Hinduism and Islam. It is also home to scenic lakes, interesting museums and magnificent structures.
