A small town on the west coast of Maharashtra, Alibag lies in the Konkan region and belongs to the district of Raigad. Alibag can be visited all through the year and experiences three main seasons.

Being a coastal station, Alibag is quite warm but not very hot in the summer season, which lasts from March to July. Maximum temperature remains in mid thirties.
