Overview
Balurghat, situated in the Dakshin Dinajpur district of West Bengal, is surrounded by numerous forests. This beautiful place is relatively clean and has several picnic spots in its vicinity. On the Balurghat-Malda Highway, in the Bolla village is situated the Bollakali Temple which is dedicated to Goddess Kali. It would be a good experience to visit the temple on a Friday after Rash Purnima, when Kali Puja is conducted in this shrine.
