September is the rainiest month with 200 mm of average rainfall. Also, the city observes good rains during the Northeast Monsoon season from October to December.
Places to see in Bangalore
Vidhana Soudha, Bangalore Palace, Tipu Sultan’s Palace and Fort, Lalbagh Botanical Garden and Cubbon Park are some of the tourist attractions in the city. The Bangalore palace was built in 1887 by Chamaraja Wodeyar and was inspired by England's Windsor Castle. Ulsoor Lake, spread over an area of 125 acres is another tourist hot spot. Boating and swimming pool are the main attractions of the lake.
