August with an average rainfall of 307.5 mm is the rainiest month for the city. September is the withdrawal period of Southwest Monsoon, which is why the average rainfall amount drops to 133 mm.
Places to see in Chandigarh
Sukhna Lake, the Rock Garden, Rose garden and Leisure valley are some of the main tourist attractions in the city. The Rock Garden situated in the middle of the Sukhna Lake in sector 1 of the city is unique. The sculptures in the garden are not made of plaster of paris but discarded waste materials.
