Gwalior is a city located in the state of Madhya Pradesh. It is also known as the tourist capital of the state and has a glorious past attached to it. Several dynasties have ruled from here leaving an amalgamation of rich culture and tradition behind. There are several monuments and forts in the city that are worth visiting. The Gwalior fort is one among them. The city witnesses all three seasons- winter, summer and monsoon.
The winter season starts in December and lasts till the end of February. The temperatures during the period are very cold with minimum dipping below 5 degree celcius. Maximum too remains chilly with an average of 26 degrees Celsius.
March to June is the summer season in Gwalior. Temperatures during these months in the city are hot with an average maximum of 40 degrees Celsius, sometimes touching 47 degrees. The average minimum is also high and lingers around 25 degrees.
July to September is the season when the city witnesses good amount of rain. The average maximum and minimum during this time remains around 25 and 35 degrees Celsius respectively.
