Overview
The cluttered and chaotic getaway to Somnath, Veraval is a large coastal industrial center in Gujarat. The Somnath Temple located near Veraval in Saurashtra is the first among the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines of Lord Shiva. Known for its fisheries, Veraval is one of India’s major fishing ports. Irrespective of the weather, the city is constantly bustling with boat building. It was also the major seaport for Mecca pilgrims before the rise of Surat.
