Capital city Delhi has an extreme weather pattern with high variation in summer and winter temperatures. Yet Dill-walon-ki-Dilli (Delhi - city of the heart-full) welcomes tourists from all across the globe wholeheartedly throughout the year.
(December to February) are very chill, with temperature dropping down to 1C. January is foggy with heavy fogs disrupting traffics. This period is ideal for tourism in Delhi.
(March to June) are scorching with temperature rises to 47C. Typically tourists avoid visting Delhi during the hot months of April to June.
(July to September) are accompanied with heavy flooding rains intermittently. The gardens in Delhi are getting enlivened up during the monsoons.
Travelling to Delhi during the winter is advisable. Rest assured, you visit the city during these months and you will fall in love with it! It is the best time to enjoy the warm winter sun and go sightseeing. Other than being the capital, there are several monuments that will attract you to this city.
