Best suited for a weekend trip, Alibag or Alibaug is located 100 Kms from Mumbai city and can be reached by road or by sea within a three hours drive. A small town on the west coast of Maharashtra, Alibag lies in the Konkan region and belongs to the district of Raigad. Alibag can be visited all through the year and experiences three main seasons.

Being a coastal station, Alibag is quite warm but not very hot in the summer season, which lasts from March to July. Maximum temperature remains in mid thirties. Daytime could be avoided for a visit to the beach but nights are comfortable and windy and suitable for outings. Minimum temperature at night hovers around 26⁰C.
