The Western Disturbance is moving away eastwards, so rain and snow will take a back seat over the region, paving way for cold and dry weather over the entire country.

By December 18, we expect isolated rain and snow to commence over Malakand and Hazara divisions, in the wake of another Western Disturbance that will influence the weather over the country. The weather of remaining parts will remain dry and sunny during this period.

For now, fog is likely to prevail over plains of North Punjab and Upper Sindh during late night and early morning hours. These regions will have freezing nights.

The capital city Islamabad along with Lahore would have very cold and foggy mornings. Karachi, in the meanwhile is likely to witness dry weather.
