India’s cardamom crop estimate for the current season is expected to be lower compared to the last year. Guatemalan carda-mom output in India would be around 30000 tonnes in 2014-15 season. Vandanmendu, Bodinayakanur, Kumily, Thekkady, Kumbum and Pattiveeran Patti in Kerala are important markets in India for cardamom.
