Britain has been enjoying a fair amount of sunshine and warmth. While you may be thinking that the state is enjoying pleasant weather conditions, mercury has soared to a good 26 degree Celsius. If you look at the British weather history, the region is baking and has observed the hottest weekend of the season.

Hampton in West London observed its maximum as 26 degrees, which happens to be the hottest day of the season. The news doesn’t end here, Northolt has recorded its maximum as 26.6 degree Celsius, which believe it or not is the warmest day during the month of May since 2012.

These weather conditions can be attributed to clear skies and sunny days. For Britain, when temperatures hit the 25 degree mark, it gets hot. The region has been observing an early summer this year. Outdoor activities have been restricted as UV levels go high with such high temperatures.

These weather conditions are expected to last for another couple of days. During the next few days, cold weather is likely to make a comeback as rains will make an appearance over Britain. So, if you decided to put your umbrella back in the closet, the time hasn’t come just yet.
