The 18th tropical cyclone for 2018, in Philippines, Typhoon Yutu is the second most significant devastating typhoon in Philippines after Mangkhut. Yutu made landfall over Isabela province in northern Philippine main Island Luzon on Tuesday, according to the Philippines's disaster management agency.

In wake of this, according to PAGASA, moderate to heavy rains are likely to continue over northern and central parts of Luzon. Fishermen and others with small vessels have been advised to not set sail in areas covered by the gale warning. Larger vessels should watch out for big waves. Many provinces have even suspended school classes.

By tonight, Yutu is expected to enter the South China Sea and intensify into a Cat 2 Strom. Further, the typhoon will track through Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Benguet and La Union. By Wednesday, Yutu is expected to leave the Philippines.
