Heavy Rainfall Over Haryana-Rajasthan: Weather Activity Till Weekend
Southern parts of Haryana and northern districts of Rajasthan are likely to experience strong weather activity, lasting till Sunday. The activity may spill over for a day or two into the next week as well. Moderate to heavy rains lashed parts of these two states yesterday. Karnal, Ambala, Hisar, Jaipur, and Churu recorded rainfall amounts between 30 mm and 50 mm. More showers with increased intensity and spread are likely over the next four days. Strong and speedy showers are expected in the next 24 hours over parts of Haryana and Rajasthan.
The remnants of the low-pressure area are now marked as a cyclonic circulation over West Uttar Pradesh. Another cyclonic circulation is marked over the contiguous parts of Haryana and Rajasthan. The east-west oriented monsoon trough is active and connects these two circulations, proceeding further eastward. The combined influence of these weather systems will keep the monsoon conditions vigorous over some parts of Haryana and Rajasthan.
