Monsoon Stays Firm Over Delhi NCR
Delhi NCR recorded moderate showers for the third straight day, with fairly uniform rainfall across the region. Safdarjung and Palam observatories logged 39 mm and 35 mm respectively. Rain and thundershowers continued through the day, with only brief interruptions. Most areas, including Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad, experienced sharp spells of rain—slightly longer and more widespread than previous days.
The monsoon trough remains close to Delhi and is expected to fuel more rain for the next few days.
FORECAST FOR DAYS AHEAD:
- Light to moderate rain expected daily till August 5
- Isolated heavy showers likely over the weekend, especially Sunday
- Cloudy skies and on-off rain spells to continue through early next week
