Heavy Rainfall Predicted in Odisha and Jharkhand: District-Wise Alert and Forecast
We expect heavy rainfall alert over Odisha and Jharkhand over the next few days, as a low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal intensifies and moves inland. The system is expected to bring widespread showers accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds to the region.
Several districts in both states are likely to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall between July 25 and July 27. The rainfall activity is attributed to a low-pressure area over north Bay of Bengal which will intensify in a well-marked low-pressure area and the associated cyclonic circulation is extending up to mid-tropospheric levels.
