Weather Forecast for Sep 7: Rain in Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Ranchi, Allahabad, Mumbai, Delhi

Depression over Odisha and Jharkhand has now weakened but light to moderate with isolated heavy showers are expected in pockets of Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand and Southeast Uttar Pradesh including Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Ranchi and Varanasi. At the same time, Bihar and Northeastern states with Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim would record light to moderate rainfall.

The system would also affect the weather over Central India, giving light to moderate rains with isolated heavy showers over East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and parts of Vidarbha like Jabalpur, Bilaspur and Nagpur. The axis of Monsoon trough that runs through the region would further enhance the rains. Meanwhile, East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh and Konkan & Goa including Mumbai would see light to moderate rainfall, while South Gujarat would just see isolated showers.

Moving up North, light to moderate showers will continue over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Uttar Pradesh. We even hope for one or two short spells of rain in pockets of Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi NCR.

Lastly in South India, light to moderate with isolated heavy showers may occur over North Telangana like Adilabad. Meanwhile, Coastal Karnataka would record scattered light to moderate rainfall along with light showers in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and South Telangana.
