Light to moderate rainfall is likely to continue over Northern hills of India. Good rainfall activity is expected to occur over the northeastern parts of the country including sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. Let's take a look at the weather forecast for the week.
Rain and thunderstorm at many paces over Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh and isolated activity is expected on April 24. Thereafter isolated activity will continue over these areas till April 28. Isolated dust storm/thunderstorm activity is expected on April 27 & 28 over Rajasthan.
Central India will continue with dry weather conditions. On April 29, light dust storm/thunderstorm activity is expected over North Madhya Pradesh, parts of Vidarbha and South Chhattisgarh.
East and Northeast India
Northeast India will continue to have fairly widespread rain and thundershowers throughout the week including sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.
Around April 27, East Bihar may start receiving few showers. And on April 28 and 29 West Bengal, East Bihar and East Jharkhand and north coastal Odisha may receive scattered showers. On April 30, many parts of Bihar and some parts of East Uttar Pradesh may receive pre-Monsoon activities.
Temperatures are expected to fall over eastern parts of the country, thanks to this weather activity.
On and off scattered rainfall will continue over Kerala and adjoining parts of interior Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka will get isolated rainy spell throughout the week. On April 27, Rayalaseema and Telangana will get isolated rain and thundershowers till April 30.
North interior Karnataka and Telangana along with Andhra Pradesh may get scattered rain on April 30. Isolated rain may occur over Marathwada and Vidarbha.
