As per Skymet Weather, the low-pressure area is brewing in the Bay of Bengal with an associated cyclonic circulation. This weather system is likely to concentrate into a depression during next 24 hours. Further, this weather system may get more marked and move in a northwest direction towards North Andhra Pradesh coast.

Therefore, good rains are expected to continue in many parts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh in districts such as Vishakhapatnam, Vijayawada, and Tuni. However, the intensity of these rains is expected to increase on October 18 and 19.

Thereafter, this depression will move towards Telangana and Maharashtra resulting in a subsequent reduction in rains over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema from October 20 but rains will increase over Telangana.
