The state of Rajasthan has made its entry into winter loud and clear with Churu recording 4.5 degrees Celsius as minimum today, the lowest of the season. This minimum temperature happens to be the first under 5 degree minimum in the plains this season.
Other parts of North Rajasthan also recorded minimum temperature under 10 degrees Celsius including Sikar at 5.5 degrees, Pilani 6.7 degrees, Bhilwara 7.7 degrees and Bikaner at 9 degrees, Chittorgarh 9 degrees.
However, the other parts including West Rajasthan and adjoining areas are still recording minimums above 10 degrees. Nevertheless, the northern parts of the state will continue to be the coldest pocket. With no significant weather system coming up over the northern parts, this trend will continue and single digit minimum will continue in these areas.
The days will be fairly good with sunshine, cloudless skies resulting in some relief from the nights, however, nights will continue to be chilly over the state.
