Both cold wave and cold day conditions are prevailing over North and East India. According to Skymet, similar weather conditions are expected to prevail for the next few days as well. Amritsar in Punjab recorded the lowest temperature on Thursday. While, Narnaul in the neighbouring state of Haryana is the second coldest place in the region.
