Weather in India

Most parts of the country have been witnessing sweltering conditions with the summer knocking doors. In fact, many parts of Gujarat as well as Mumbai have been reeling under heatwave conditions. Mumbai's maximum reached its peak with the maximum temperature settling at 39.6 degrees Celsius.

Most parts of North India are also seeing extremely high temperatures with Delhi recording the highest maximum of the season at 33 degrees Celsius. However, as far as rains are concerned, no rains are in sight for the next few days in almost the entire country.

The only regions that are expected to see some rains are Kerala as well as Andaman and Nicobar Islands that too because of a Cyclonic Circulation, which is over Bay of Bengal and adjoining Equatorial region.

Other than this, due to absence of any weather system, no rainfall activities are expected to be seen for the next few days at least. It is only around 20th March, that some rainfall activity may be seen.
