The central parts of the country are observing variation in weather conditions. In fact, isolated parts of Northeast Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh have received light rain.

But now due to the prevalence of dry northwesterly winds, most parts of Central India i.e. Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh will witness dry weather conditions.

However, due to the trough extending across parts of Chhattisgarh, isolated light rain will occur over the northern districts of the state.

Similarly, due to an upper air trough extending across parts of South Gujarat and North Coastal Maharashtra, isolated patchy rain and thundershower activities may also occur at some places like Surat, Veraval, Mumbai, Amreli, Bhavnagar and Valsad.

In next 24 hours, both the above-mentioned weather systems will become less marked and the weather will become dry over entire Central India.

In fact, Vidarbha region of Maharashtra will start observing significant rise in day temperatures from tomorrow onwards.

Yesterday, Akola in Vidarbha recorded 37.5˚C as the day temperature, followed by Chandrapur 36.4˚C, Yavatmal 36.2˚C, Amravati 35.6˚C, Brahmapuri 35.5˚C, Washim 35.2˚C and Wardha 33.5˚C.
