Gwalior, Guna, Indore, Bhopal, Sagar in MP all set for good Monsoon rains

After brief delay, Monsoon 2017 has made its onset over parts of Madhya Pradesh. With this, conditions are now favourable for good rains and thundershowers to commence over several parts of the state.

According to Skymet Weather, active Monsoon conditions can be seen over Maharashtra and parts of Madhya Pardesh. All thanks to the off-shore trough running from South Gujarat to Kerala. With this, humid winds have been reaching over Madhya Pradesh.

With this, rain and thundershowers of varying intensity are likely over Bhind, Datia, Gwalior, Morena, Sheopur, Shivpuri, Ashoknagar, Bhopal, Dewas, Guna, Indore, Rajgarh, Sehore, Shajapur, Ujjain, Vidisha, Jhalawar, Damoh, Narsinghpur, Raisen, Sagar, Betul, Chhindwara, Hoshangabad and Seoni districts of Madhya Pradesh on Saturday.

These showers will also be accompanied with gusty winds and thunderstorms.

Not only this, weathermen predict that rain and thundershowers are likely to further intensify during the next 2-3 days. This means state is likely to record some moderate to heavy spells in the coming days.

Parts of Madhya Pradesh have already been recording good rain and thundershowers, with few areas even receiving heavy showers. In span of 24 hours from 8:30 am on Friday, Khandwa has recorded 65 mm of rains, followed by Betul at 56 mm.
