Hot days coming up for Delhi, Loo like conditions expected

May 12, 2023 12:18 PM |

Delhi and the NCR region have started to witness a slight rise in temperatures. Earlier, the national capital had been enjoying some comfortable weather with Pre Monsoon rains on a continuous basis. Yesterday, the maximum at Safdarjung observatory was reported to be around 38.6 degrees.

However, the temperatures still have not touched 40 degrees, which is the normal maximum for Delhi throughout the month of May and the first few days of June. Now, with no weather activity in sight, we are likely to see a rise in temperatures. In fact, we can expect the Maximums to reach its normal levels today itself, probably touching 40 degrees Celsius.

Hot days are coming up for Delhi with maximums reaching 40 degrees and even beyond that wherein the mercury may touch 41-42 degrees Celsius in the coming days. Winds will be blowing during the daytime. In fact, with moderate winds blowing over the region and high temperatures, loo-like conditions are very much likely for the national capital.
