At present, the maximum temperatures have been running about 3°C to 5°C above normal and the minimum temperatures have been settling above normal by 2°C to 4°C, over the cities of Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Surat, Gandhinagar and Amreli.

As per Skymet Weather, an anti-cyclone is persisting over Gujarat. Therefore, we do not expect any weather activity to occur over Gujarat for the next days.

Moreover, dry and warm winds from Central Pakistan will also continue to blow over Kutch and North Gujarat region. However, northeasterly and easterly winds from Madhya Pradesh and adjoining areas will affect southern Gujarat region.

With this, we anticipate a further rise in both the day and night temperatures. Though, the change will be marginal.

However, this rise in temperatures will ensure that the days will become warmer with clear sky and bright sunshine. In fact, the night will also be a little warm. With, winter biding adieu to Gujarat, the temperatures are not likely to fall in the near future over Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Surat, Gandhinagar and Amreli.
