Northwest India to see rains next week, mostly dry weather till then

September 6, 2022 9:06 PM |

Northwest India has been seeing dry weather conditions and similar situation is expected to be seen over these regions in the next three days including the states of Punjab, Haryana as well as Rajasthan.

In view of these dry weather conditions, the temperatures have already seen a rise and a similar pattern in both the maximum and the minimum will be seen until September 9. Maximums will be settling around mid 30s. However, south-west monsoon is not expected to retreat just yet from north-west India.

We can expect some on and off light rainfall activity around September 10 and 11 under the influence of a weak and feeble Western disturbance which is moving across the northern parts.

A system is forming in the Bay of Bengal, which will be reviving Monsoon over most parts of the country, travelling across Central India. Clouding may be once across some parts around September 12 and 13, further increasing thereafter. This system will give some heavy rains around September 14 and 15, and this spell may be a prolonged one.
