Pune, Nashik, Satara to get light rain; dry weather in Nagpur, Akola

Konkan & Goa and adjacent parts of Madhya Maharashtra have been witnessing light to moderate shows for last 2-3 days but weather of remaining parts of the state including Vidarbha and Marathwada region has been almost dry.

As of now, there is no weather system prevailing over Arabian Sea as well as over Interior Peninsular. With this, we expect similar weather conditions to continue for the next few days. In fact, rains are likely to reduce further over parts of Madhya Maharashtra.

According to Skymet Weather, Southwest Monsoon will remain subdued over the region. However, due to the proximity to the coast and prevalence of westerly winds from Arabian Sea, light to moderate rains will continue over Konkan & Goa and over few places of Madhya Maharashtra.

During the next 24 hours, Nashik, Ahmednagar, Pune, Satara, Sangli, and Kolhapur will see light to very light rains.
Mumbai will also settle with light showers with one or two isolated moderate spells in the coming days.

Meanwhile, parts of Vidarbha And Marathwada such as Nagpur, Akola, Nanded, Parbhani, Jalna, Amravati, Chandrapur, Hingoli, and Latur will remain absolutely dry.

According to Skymet Weather, chances of revival of Monsoon over these areas are very week for at least next one week.
