These rains will also cover the northern plains of the country such as Punjab, Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh. Delhi may receive isolated light rains on Holi, March 21.

As we are now in the third week of March, the frequency of Western Disturbances reduces and only feeble systems keep approaching the region. Due to weak disturbances, chances of heavy snowfall become less and the entire region experiences only rain and thundershower activities. However, extreme upper reaches keep receiving light snowfall.
