According to the weathermen in Skymet Weather, presently there is no significant weather system in the vicinity of Maharashtra that would cause rain and thundershower activities over northern parts of the state. Due to this, both maximum and minimum temperatures are settling near the normal range.

However, rain intensity may increase over South Konkan and Goa and South Madhya Maharashtra with isolated rains over Vidarbha during the next 24 hours.

The enticing city of Mumbai would see isolated rainfall activities only. On top of this, we do not expect any major increase in the intensity of rainfall in the forthcoming days. Heavy showers are not on the cards for Maharashtra. There is an anticipation of Konkan & Goa to continue with sporadic rains along with isolated showers over rest all places of Maharashtra.

As on September 24, Marathwada, Vidarbha and Madhya Maharashtra have seen below normal rains at -18%, -6% and -6%, respectively. Whereas, Konkan & Goa has seen normal rains so far.
