Places like Sangli, Satara, Kolhapur, Sindhudurga and Ratnagiri are expected to observe the rainy spells. Meanwhile, the weather over rest of the state comprising Marathwada, Vidarbha and North Madhya Maharashtra would remain dry.

Temperatures in Vidarbha are expected to settle in mid 30s while Konkan & Goa would have maximums in lower 30s.

Nights would stay cool in Interior Maharashtra and comfortable in the coastal regions.

As on September 25, Marathwada, Vidarbha and Madhya Maharashtra have seen deficient rains to the tune of -19%, -7% and -7%, respectively. Whereas Konkan & Goa attained surplus rains.
