Heavy rains are all set to lash Tamil Nadu and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. In view of the low pressure area over South Bay of Bengal, Northeast Monsoon activity will pick up very soon.
Tomorrow, it will continue to be on the moderate side confining to just coastal parts. However, rains will increase by tomorrow and slow down thereafter.
Coastal Tamil Nadu and South Coastal Andhra Pradesh will see most rains. Later, interiors of Tamil Nadu and Rayalaseema. Cities of Chennai, Thiruvallur, Kanchipuram, Cuddalore, Nagapattinam, Puducherry, Karaikal, Madurai, Trichy, Thanjavur, Kodaikanal, Nellore, Ongole, Bapatla, Kavali, Tirupati, Cuddapah etc. will see rains
South Coastal Tamil Nadu may not see intense rains as compared to the central and the northern regions. Rains will be seen for the next three days, peaking tomorrow, reducing a little thereafter day after tomorrow and seeing a significant drop furthermore.
