Rainy days ahead for Bengaluru, good showers soon

The city of Bengaluru has seen it all, right from hot weather conditions causing the residents to ask desperately for some relief to rain gods obliging and giving the residents that much needed rainfall activity.

The Garden city of India has witnessed a few spells of rainfall keeping the evenings over Bengaluru pleasant. However, these rainy spells have only been light in nature and the city has not be able to see those moderate or heavy Pre-Monsoon showers.

The last time some significant rain was recorded was on April 13 when the city recorded 13 mm of rainfall.

However, rain gods are all set to give some good showers over the capital city of Karnataka. These weather conditions will be attributed to the cyclonic circulation which persists over North Interior Karnataka and adjoining areas.

Along with this, a trough is also extending from this system up to Comorin Area across South Interior Karnataka and Interior Tamil Nadu.

Thus, as per weathermen at Skymet Weather, rainy days are ahead for Bengaluru. While the city may receive a few light spells of thunderstorm and rain during the evening hours. The intensity of rainfall is likely to increase during the next two days.

In fact, a few good spells of rain after 24 to 48 hours cannot be ruled out. With this, temperatures will also witness a drop to some extent.
