The state of Gujarat has seen good rains due to Cyclone Biparjoy. Some hefty rains were observed during that time around the third week of the month.
However, after that, the state has mostly remained dormant in terms of rainfall activities. Now, things are all set to change. Rainfall activity is expected to pick up over Gujarat, mostly the interiors of Gujarat. Showers will come up later for Saurashtra. South Gujarat may see rains starting today, with intensity increasing by June 29.
Rains will spillover to the initial days of July as well. However, as far as Kutch is concerned, we may not see intense rains over there.
