Heatwave conditions which were being observed over the Maharashtra region have now spilled over to even Telangana. These conditions are likely to be there for at least a couple of more days.

Most places are observing the maximum temperature above 40 degrees in the state of Telangana. These maximums are running at least 4 to 5° above the normal levels.

So much so that yesterday the maximum of the capital city Hyderabad was recorded at 40.8 degrees which is 4 degrees above normal levels. Along with this, Nizamabad, Adilabad, Roopnagar, all these places are recording maximum above 40 degrees.

Some parts have recorded seasons highest yesterday including the cities of Nizamabad, Hyderabad and Adilabad.

The reason for high temperatures is the Wind discontinuity which is extending from Bihar, across Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Telangana and going up to interior Tamil Nadu.
