South-west monsoon had a slightly early arrival over the national capital by two days on June 25, making its arrival synced with 2015 and 2020. The arrival was also simultaneous with Mumbai. Moreover, Delhi and NCR saw some good rains.

Now also, Delhi and the NCR region may continue to see some showers due to the oscillation of the trough. However, since the trough will continue to oscillate from north to south, there may be varied intensities of rains. Usually, places north of the trough see lesser rain and the south see more rain.

For now, the trough is south of Delhi NCR which means the region may not see very intense rains but the trough will oscillate and rains may increase by the fag end of the month. The system as a weakened circulation will spend more time over and meandering over Madhya Pradesh. Monsoon activity will go on over Delhi of varied intensity. The first couple of days of July may see heavier showers.
