At present, both the maximum and minimum temperatures of Jammu and Kashmir are significantly above normal. The day temperatures are settling above normal by 6°C to 10°C.

The Western Disturbance which is lying over North Pakistan is likely to give scattered rain and snow over Jammu and Kashmir during the next 24 hours.

Therefore, the temperatures of some parts such as Bhaderwah, Banihal, Kokernag, and Pahalgam may decrease by 3°C to 4°C. However, the temperatures over the state would continue to settle above normal.

Similarly, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand are also observing temperatures above normal by 4°C to 7°C. As per Skymet Weather, the Western Disturbance prevailing over the western Himalayas is not anticipated to give rain over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Thus, the temperatures would continue to settle above normal for the next few days.

During the month of March, the weather is pleasant over these states. However, with the inflation of temperatures, the weather has turned slightly warm.
