The garden city of India, Bengaluru remained almost dry since last fortnight. According to Skymet Weather, the weather across South Interior Karnataka including Bengaluru has been witnessing mainly dry weather conditions.
Further, dry weather conditions are likely to prevail over the city, although light to very light rain in isolated pockets cannot be ruled out. The sky conditions may become partly cloudy but any major activity is not expected.
However, the dry spell is likely to come too an end very soon. It is anticipated that rains are likely to revive over Bengaluru around November 27.
The Low-Pressure area which is presently over Southeast Bay of Bengal will travel towards Tamil Nadu. As a consequence, it will start giving fairly widespread rains over Tamil Nadu and during that time, scattered showers are also expected over many districts of South Interior Karnataka.
Bengaluru will also witness some rains during the same span. These rains may continue in patches until November 30. In fact, one or two moderate spells are also expected.
The temperature levels which are presently ranging between 28°C and 29°C may come down to 23°C to 24°C, leading to very pleasant conditions. Until November 22, Bengaluru has recorded 20.8 mm of rains against the average rain of 48.9 mm.
