Sudan

Sudan is an African country that experiences high heat all year round, exceeding 45°C, even on a rainy day. Being a desert-land, the country is one of the hottest and the driest countries in the world with an average temperature of 52°C. To make matters worse the country experiences little to no rain.

Oman

Oman, the Arab state, is known to be one of the richest countries in the world, but do you know that it is also one of the hottest countries in the world? For almost 5 to 6 months in a year, the temperature of Oman is around 50-53°C.Thanks to the richness, everything is air-conditioned.

Iraq

The war-torn country faces many more problems than just war. And one of the biggest problems they face is extreme heat. This Middle-Eastern country faces summers that have temperatures settling above 48°C up to almost 54°C. Though Iraq has a mountainous northern region where it even snows in winters, but in the rest of the country, there is no respite from the baking summers.

India

Malaysia is a federal constitutional monarch, located in the Southeast Asia. It consists of thirteen different states and the three federal territories. Kuala Lumpur is the Capital and Putrajaya is the largest city. Geographically, Malaysia is almost located on the equator making its climate hot and damp. The mercury throughout the year remains 25-35 °C and sometimes, it reaches up to 40°C.

The North African country of Algeria experiences extremely hot days and very cool nights. Although the country experiences mild rain, the temperature during the day time soars above 50°C.Temperature in winter averages around 25°C. Summers are always intolerably dry and highly humid.

Saudi Arabia

Saudiâs hot climate is due to the hot air that comes from the desert, with a major part of the country falling under the desert zone. Therefore, the year-round temperature in this country always soars above 50°C. Just as many other Gulf countries, Saudi Arabia also experiences low to moderate rain and that is the main reason for the high temperature in the country. Day temperature in Saudi Arabia reaches 52°C quite often.

The Danakil Depression is a desert with areas more than 100 metres below the sea level. The area is marked by dangerous heat waves and earth tremors. There are records when day temperatures have risen here up to 63°C.

Temperatures in Libya are so high that the people there are known to get affected by it in the form of some skin blisters or diseases every summer. The Libyan Desert, which covers most of the land in the country, is dry and arid. This leads to rise in the mercury to over 55°C at times. The record for one of the highest temperature ever recorded in the world was in Libya. It was in 1922 and the temperature recorded there was 57.8°C!
