Temperatures to increase significantly over Delhi, rains likelyDelhi weather has been on the warmer side for the past few days. So much so that the overcoat weather has taken a backseat. In fact, the quilts and sweaters have been thrown away in the closets and the spring wardrobe has been welcomed with open arms.

Presently, both Palam and the Safdarjung have been observing above normal maximums. The temperature is settling at 27.6 degrees which happens to be two degrees above the normal levels. As far as the minimums are concerned, they tend to settle close to the normal levels itself being a notch below normal in some parts of the city.

Now, as per weathermen at Skymet Weather, the city is expected to witness an increase in the maximum temperatures in the coming days. In fact, the increase in the day temperatures are expected to be significant. Maximums may even cross the 30-degree mark resulting in warm weather conditions of the city. Minimums will also witness a slight increase in the coming days.

Not only this, at present, an induced circulation is over North Pakistan and adjoining areas. This system is likely to move towards the Punjab region during the next 24 hours. Light rains are likely over many parts of Punjab. In view of this, the national capital may also witness some rainfall activity on March 1.
