The above temperature is recorded for today 26th january, 2017 when winters starts to abate
    So thats correct
In most all parts of plain areas the temperature is way above 15 degrees.
Only rajasthan gets so cool even in february-march because of aravali ranges here.

When will Delhi NCR recieve substantial amounts of rain? It has been ages since we’ve recieved any good rains here in the capital, and maximum temperatures continue to be above average in the mid-20s, instead of the usual lower-20s for early Feb. Pls inform when we can expect drop in maximums and how L ong winter will last here in NW India?

Please change the tag line-Top 10 coldest places in India … to ‘Top 10 coldest places in plains in India’-.This is misleading. If that is the case places like Leh, Kargil, Dras or Keylong would always top the charts.

According to your data Srinagar is 1 deg minimum, roorkee is -1 degree etc… there are so many places less than 3 degree, the data may be correct but it cannot be categorized as top 10 coldest places, i think may be it is in punjab/haryana.
